Now they are sitting on the plane in Amsterdam since 12pm today – heavy snow and crew out of hours- awful for them – no food but got a cup of tea 5 hours ago! Lovely- it’s one 7.30pm !

VERY interesting weekend in D1…. First real test of the impact of the internationals’ unavailability… I feel a bit for Monkstown who’ve been ravaged, but on the flip side it shows the strength of the club overall and they may have enough in the tank to ride it out. Railway look in good health and i predict a couple of big weekends ahead and an IHL place is beckoning. First chance to see what UCD have without S O’D and Clontarf have been ok at home this season. Glens will find it tough at the airport too… Corinthians/Brooke is anyones guess but a cracking game to watch i reckon. Predictacon thinks it’s going to be a BIG weekend for the underdog!!!! A great weekend for the value accumulator methinks. Are you listening Paddy Power!!!!!!!!!
