** (added May 23) Genesis Hockey Club is currently seeking applications for the position of Head Coach of Genesis. The Head Coach will coach Genesis 1st team and will oversee the implementation of the youth training plan by the Youth Coaching Coordinator.
Genesis 1st team plays in Leinster senior league division 1 and has the ambition to reach the play-offs for the EY league. Training for 1sts and 2nds is on Mondays and Wednesdays at Genesis home pitch at St. Raphaela’s school in Stillorgan, 19.30-21.30.

** (added May 17) Railway Union Hockey Club is seeking a coach for their first XI men’s team for the upcoming 2017/18 season. Competing in the EYHL since its inception, Railway Union offers the opportunity to coach at the highest Irish club level.
Applicants will require:
• A minimum of an IHA Level 1 coaching qualification, with Level 2 qualification preferable.
• Relevant coaching experience is essential.
• Familiarity and competence with game video analysis and the ability address and convey this in team video sessions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate players to perform to the best of their abilities.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
• The design and implementation of structured, high intensity, team training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• Appropriate planning for, and attendance at, all team matches on Saturdays, with occasional Sunday and midweek matches throughout the season.
• Development and integration of young players into the senior squad, along with overseeing the development of second team players into the first team squad.
• Liaising with relevant members of the club committee as required.
Appropriate remuneration will be discussed with potential applicants during the interview process.

** (added May 11) Waterford Hockey Club wish to recruit two experienced Head Coaches - for the Men's 1XI/Senior Squad and the Ladies 1XI / Senior Squad.
Training times are Tuesday 7-9pm and Thursday 7-9pm. These times are flexible and can be changed to suit. The appointed coach should be available to attend and coach Saturday matches. Training sessions and home matches will take place in Newtown School in Waterford.

- Possess a Level 1 Hockey Coaching badge or relevant coaching experience
- Have completed a Code of Ethics course, are subject to Garda

We are re-organising our coaching structure and are continuing to have Olympian and Irish International Peter Caruth as Club Coach to lead the elite performance of the 1st XI and FIH coach Andy Smyth as Director of Coaching to oversee the coaching strategy across the whole club.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Club Coach who would work alongside the Director of Coaching and have specific responsibility for the coaching of the 2nd XI.
The 1st XI has recently gained promotion back into the Irish Hockey League. Our 2nd XI play at the highest possible level in the Ulster Hockey Junior 1 League. Our aim next season is to use the 2nd XI as a squad that can nurture our many underage Ulster and Irish players to become part of the 1st squad moving forward as well as winning the Junior 1 league.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified and motivated coach to lead the development of players to make the transition from 2nd XI to 1st XI, working alongside an extended team of Assistant Club Coaches who will each have specific responsibility for the coaching of one of the squads within the club. We are especially looking for coaches who want to learn from some of the best coaches in the country to develop their coaching skills.
