UCD and CIT won today’s finals at the Chilean and Mauritius Cups, respectively, this afternoon with wins over UU and DCU. The nature of the competition, though, means the men’s title will reside with DCU for the upcoming year as CIT enter the competition as a guest team due to their non-University status.
UCD will hope to make full use of home advantage as they host the annual Mauritius and Chilean intervarsity cups at Belfield, the respective three-day tournaments tipping off on Sunday in Belfield.
