Players In: Sara Twomey (UCD), Lizzy Murphy (Monkstown), Grace McLoughlin (Railway Union), Grace Donald (Kilkenny College)
Out: Hannah McLoughlin (UCD), Hannah McDermott (Old Alex)

Overview: The EY Champions Trophy winners have enjoyed a productive summer with the addition of some rising talent. Irish capped goalkeeper Lizzy Murphy is a big addition between the posts as is Irish Under-21 skipper Sara Twomey for their midfield.

Sinead McGirr and Kate Crotty are on the way back, strengthening the panel further. They will likely be without Nicci Daly who is likely to spend time in the USA for work as she did last season before returning to shine in the business end of the season.

On the debit side, the composure of Hannah McLoughlin will be missed but with an extra year of front-line hockey for Caitlin Sherin, Siofra O’Brien, Mia Jennings and Christina Hamill and more development for Sarah Torrans, Paul Fitzpatrick’s side have the potential to be one of the sides to catch.

They will head off to Amsterdam in April to play in the EuroHockey Club Cup where they will be Ireland’s representatives in the top tier competition.
