Players out: Sean Murray (HC Rotterdam), Paul Gleghorne (Crefelder HTC), Neal Glassey (Crefelder HTC), Michael Robson (Crefelder HTC), Scott McCabe (Queens University), Stevie Arbuthnot (retired), Andrew O’Hare (Annadale), Ryan Getty (Annadale)

Overview: In a summer of moves abroad, Lisnagarvey look to be by far the most affected with the international quartet of Michael Robson, Sean Murray, Paul Gleghorne and Neal Glassey meaning Erroll Lutton has a rejig on his hands, particularly in midfield.

It ups the importance of senior figures like Jonny Bell and Matthew Nelson but they will be aided by the return after a year out of Timmy Cockram. They have added their glut of Ireland Under-18 representative players – Andy Edgar, Matthew Milliken, Jonny Lynch and Ollie Kidd – and Under-16 international Troy Chambers (who has switched from Annadale) to their training panel.

For Lutton, the “aim is to provide an environment that is enjoyable and challenging that allows everyone to train and play at the highest level both domestically and nationally. With a freshening up of the squad, a new pitch now laid and a return to provincial competitions, we are looking forward to the new season”.
