Out: Shane O’Donoghue (Dragons, Belgium) Herbie Fowler-Hudson (YMCA)

Overview: Last season’s surprise package will have to try and replace Shane O’Donoghue in their line-up as their captain and top scorer has moved back to Dragons for a second spell. In his stead, Johannesburg man Brad Venter and towering German defender Cedric Jakobi have arrived in Ireland and are among a number of new recruits.

Jonny McCormack links up again with Joe Brennan having previously worked together at Three Rock before the midfielder moved to Avoca.

With those additions, they look like they will continue to be one of the main contenders on the national stage with much of their side still in situ at St Andrew’s.

Goalkeeper Iain Walker was a crucial component with a stellar season along with David Keogh, Sam O’Connor and Stephen Brownlow in kick-starting their speedy counter-attacking game. Michael Styles will support player-coach Joe Brennan.
