Overview: Despite a lot of players leaving for college, the return of some seasoned Division 1 players means that Old Alex is in a strong position going into the 2016-17 season with a chance to push for the EYHL playoff places.

Tarrin Ramsden arrives from South Africa to coach the first eleven while underage international defender Issy Delamar is a big boost. Grainne Mulkerrin, Laura Gibney and Kate Lenehan all come back after college stints while Pamela Smithwick in goal gives them an excellent last line of defence.

Freya McDermott’s disguise-pass and midfield dynamism will be missed while older sister Hannah has also switched to Loreto.
