Overview: Nicci Daly takes on a more senior role within the squad as assistant coach following her stint in the US over the last six months, working with a motor-racing team. She is part of a management team with head coach Sarah Scott, strength and conditioning coach Nadine Doherty who all return while Freda Canavan joins as manager.

Both Muckross firsts and seconds have emerging young talent within their ranks with Niamh Gowing, Caroline Mathews and Natasha Twomey all recently selected for the Leinster Under-18s squad, and Lisa Mulcahy, Emma Dawson and Isabelle McGrath all selected for the Leinster U-16s squad.

They will be hoping to have a more sustained push toward the playoff places after a stellar start to last season unravelled a bit after six initial wins and they have made strong additions but will miss Sarah Green’s experience and the quality of rising stars Emma Mathews and Mia Jennings.
