Highlight reel: King Kwan of T&T

With Ireland confirmed to play Trinidad and Tobago, it gives us an excuse to bring out a highlight reel of their best ever player, the diminutive but mighty Kwan Browne, a man blessed with perhaps the best balance and body position around.

The vast majority of this first clip is him making a fool of would-be tacklers diving in; the rest is just a great tricks and skills package

Browne, this time, shows his vision for Canterbury in England with an outrageous long pass over the top.

It got me thinking about some other top ball carriers and a quick search for Dhanraj Pillay’s best bits, produced this gem.

Back to the current day, UHC Hamburg and Rot-Weiss Koln contested one of the highest quality games of the European season to date. Christopher Zeller’s first corner is immense (3.18) and there is loads of other innovative techniques to marvel at.

Former Pembroke man Tim Lewis, playing for Reading, meanwhile, avails of the removed own goal ruling to apply a beautiful finish for no penalty against Southgate; what a finish!!
