Irish trio help Racing salvage Daring draw

Racing Club de Bruxelle’s Irish troupe, comprising Chris Cargo, Conor Harte and Alan Sothern, salvaged a last gasp draw against EHL-bound Daring, the side that beat them to third place in the Belgian league last year.

A breakaway goal from Lucas de Mot put Racing 1-0 up at the break. Despite an excellent penalty stop from Jeremy Gucasoff, Daring – who will play Monkstown in the EHL – were level via Tanguy Cosyns and Jerome Dubuisson put the hosts in front.

But, with only two seconds left, Thomas Vanneste secured a point for a jubilant Racing Rats team. Check out the highlights from TV Brussel.
