Irish men’s O-45s name World Cup squad

The Ireland O-45s Masters management have announced the squad for the upcoming FIH Masters World Cup in Rotterdam, running from the 5th to 13th June.

The pool games will see Ireland play teams including Germany, the current European Open champions and semi-finalists from the last world cup and New Zealand, semi-finalists from last world cup.

The squad is a blend of Ulster, Leinster, Munster and Exile players. They will be looking to repeat their solid performances from the 2012 World Cup and last year’s European Open at Lisnagarvey and will be targeting getting out of their group and a place in the quarter finals.
