News in brief: Leinster seek top coaches

** The Senior Interprovincials will be taking place in November (venue tbc) and the LHA are now looking to recruit coaches, assistant coaches and manager for the Ladies and Men’s Senior Interprovincial teams.

** The Pink Ladies are hosting an international hockey tournament for gay players from Friday, June 29 to Sunday, July 1 in Serpentine Avenue. Currently, over 60 players have registered to play in the event from the UK, Holland, Germany and even Austrailia.

** UCD ladies hockey club are trying to compile alumni records as far back as they can. They are asking for anyone who played for UCD LHC to please send their name, mobile number, team and year of leaving the club to

** Old Alex have four members of the Irish U-16 panel who will travel to Vienna fro the European Championships from July 5 to 8 with Amber Gleeson, Emma Duncan, Anna Roopnarinesingh and Rachel Gray all included. Hermes pair Sarah Patton and Jenna Volpert and Corinthian Sara Quill make up the Leinster contingent.
