Irish men Czech in for two international dates

Ireland’s men will play two fixtures against the Czech Republic next week to complete their warm-up programme for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament which gets underway on March 10.

They will face the world number 23 on the evenings of Friday, March 2 and Saturday, March 3in Belfield.

Women’s coach Gene Muller, meanwhile, will bring a squad of 23 to Beerschot this weekend where they will take in three training matches against France on the Olympic Qualifying pitch. They travel out this Saturday retuning on Monday.

The final Irish squads for both the men and women for the Olympic qualifying tournaments will be named on Thursday, March 1.
