Genesis seek first team coach for 2011/12

Genesis Hockey Club are seeking a coach for their 1st XI and 4th XIs for the upcoming season. Genesis are one of the largest Ladies Clubs in Leinster Hockey. Their 1st XI currently play in Division 2 of the Leinster hockey league and are seeking promotion back to Division 1.

The position of 1st XI coach has arisen in Genesis as Mark Egner is stepping down after two seasons in the position. All at Genesis would like to sincerely thank Mark for all his hard work and dedication over the last two years.

The coach of the 1st XI should be an enthusiastic, ambitious individual with good previous experience of coaching Ladies and youth teams. All applicants should have a mminimum of a Level 1 or equivalent coaching qualification and a Certificate of attendance of the ISC Basic Awareness course. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator and a facilitator of a development process.

Genesis 1st XI train on Monday and Wednesday evenings in Foxrock and UCD and play all home matches in UCD. The 1st XI coach will be required to attend all training sessions and matches. Genesis Hockey Club hope to have 6 teams playing in the Leinster Hockey league next season and are also interested in receiving applications from prospective coaches interested in coaching their fourth team in the club who play in division nine.
