The Leinster U-18 and U-16 boy’s teams are still accepting final nominations for trials for the interprovincial tournament which takes place in autumn 2011 with a view to establishing training squads for the summer months.
To this end, submissions for nominations should be sent to Peter Chadwick at Chadwick.peter (at) gmail (dot) com.
Included must be a verified date of birth for the players whom you wish to nominate and they must be in line with international eligibility dates ie. U-18 = Birth dates 1994 or younger; U-16 = Birth dates 1996 or younger.
Nominees will be put forward to screening trials and will subsequently contact directly by squad managers from then onwards.
Those nominating are requested to restrict their nominatons to players who are above average performers and who will genuinely be capable of competing at a higher level. There is no benefit to nominating a player who will struggle with the skills and fitness levels expected at the trials.
