The Irish Masters have pencilled in a busy year of activities in 2011, looking to build further on what was a successful year gone by which saw the country host the Home Nations last summer.
They are building toward the Home Nations yet again but also half an eye on potentially competing in the European and World championships in the second half of the year.
To discuss these issues, their next important meeting is on Sunday, January 23 when they have a meeting, both men and women, at Lisnagarvey at 12pm concerning the Masters admin and committee.
A first training date for the men will follow at 2.30pm while subsequent sessions are hoping to be held in Galway (February 20), Dublin (March 6 and April 3) and Belfast (May 8).
A further preparation session for the Home Nations for the O-45s and O-55s will possibly in Lisnagarvey (June 5) and Dublin (June 12) before the tournament takes play in Hillsborough on June 18 and 19.
The O-40s and O-50s play their tournament, meanwhile, in Swansea a month later on July 23 and 24.
Depending on interest and availability, a decision will be made on whether to potentially send teams to the Europeans in Krefeld, Germany (August 23-28) and the World Cup in Singapore (October 28 to November 5).
