Corinthian ladies announce coach de Jong

Corinthian’s ladies have announced the appointment of former Three Rock and Clontarf boss Harold de Jong as first team coach for the coming season.

Speaking about the signing, a club statement said: “his vast experience and knowledge of the game both in Ireland and internationally will be a huge asset to the club.

“His appointment is a key to Corinthian Hockey Club building on the great progress that Stuart Walker and Andrew Cronje made with the team last year.”

De Jong will be joined on the coaching staff by Geoff Walker who is taking the helm of the ladies second team – the second year that Walker has worked with the ladies club as they aim to return to division two.
